He's known to many as "The Singing Surgeon" and he paid tribute to Elvis on Thursday,
Dr. James Matthews Jr., swapping his scrubs and scalpel for a fringe shirt and microphone, gave his best Elvis impersonation at King's Daughters &Sons Rest Home.
There, he performed for residents and staff.
Matthews saw Elvis perform about nine times in the 1970s, mostly in Las Vegas. Matthews has been a fan since he first heard "Heartbreak Hotel" on the radio in 1956.
