Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hilton Little of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Martha Olivia, to Thomas Clayton Britton Jr., son of Paula Knott Britton of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and Thomas Clayton Britton Sr., of Pulaski, Tenn.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
Miss Little is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virgil Douglas Priester of Jackson and the late Redford Sims Adams of Meridian, and Mrs. Robert Hansel Little of Enterprise and the late Mr. Little.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a degree in social work from the University of West Alabama and a master's degree in social work from the University of Alabama.
Miss Little is employed by Troy State University.
Mr. Britton is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Knott of Lawrenceburg, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Britton of Pulaski.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Lawrence County High School and received a degree from Middle Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee.
While attending the UT, he was a member of the golf team.
Mr. Britton is employed in special operations of the U.S. Air Force.
A reception will be held at the Destin NCO Club.
