Services for Algene Lamar Tinsley will be held today at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Null officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Tinsley, 82, of the Damascus Community, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. He was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture after more than 35 years. He was a native of the Damascus Community and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Air Force 48th Fighter Squadron.
Survivors include his wife, Renia Lewis Tinsley; and a daughter, Doretta Tinsley Ocampo, both of the Damascus Community; sons, Ricky Tinsley and his wife, Deborah, of Mira Loma, Calif., Billy Tinsley of the Damascus Community and Johnny Tinsley of Bailey; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Charla and Jacob Tinsley, Tanya, Jessica and Shawna Ocampo, Jeremy, Jason and Amber Tinsley; seven great-grandchildren, Kylah and Kelton Hope, Mariana, and Detra Ocampo, Brandon Tinsley and Eleiana Tinsley and Mia Hope Ocampo; and a sister, Blanche Mozella Tinsley Gunter of Meridian.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews.

Services for Flora C. McCain will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Mullinax officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. McCain, 73, of Meridian, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at Queen City Nursing Center.
Survivors include her niece, Brenda Pitts of Meridian; a sister, Emma Young of Houston, Texas; and a brother, Howard Combs Sr. of Meridian.
Pallbearers will be Howard Combs Jr., Ronald Combs, Wayne Parks, Wayne Jones Sr., Wayne Jones Jr., and W. L. Pitts.
DOMONIC RODRIQUS HOUSTON

DEKALB Services for Domonic Rodriqus Houston will be held today at 2 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church in Russell with the Rev. Chris Howell officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Houston, 17, of Nashville, died Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
Survivors include his parents, McArthur Houston and Rozell Forbes Houston of Nashville; three sisters, Lakisha Brown and Latisha Brown, both of Meridian; and Kimberly Forbes of Nashville; three brothers, Alfonzo Brown of Fort Worth, Texas; and Sanwon Houston and Marcus A. Houston, both of Nashville; and his grandparents and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother.
JOHN LEE HARPER SR.

Services for John Lee Harper Sr. will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Raymon Leake and Jim Richols officiating. Burial will be in Rawson Cemetery.
Mr. Harper, 77, of Meridian, died Friday, August 16, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and is a U.S. Navy veteran. He also was a mason and shriner.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Bell Harper, his children, William L. Harper and his wife, Jane, John L. Harper Jr. and his wife, Mary, and Richard E. Harper, a sister, Sarah Shelby, and a brother, Jerry Wayne Shelby and his wife, Rachel, all of Meridian; grandchildren, John and Wesley Mutgizer, Christy and April Harper, and Danielle and Amber Harper; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Robert Luke, James Jones, Buddy Hines, Willie F. Thompson, Henry Thompson, Michael Shelby and Charles Vincent. Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Evans and Charlie Mosley.

MACON Graveside services for Mae Gray Draughn were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Brooksville Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Zgarba officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Draughn, 101, of Starkville, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Starkville Manor Nursing Home.
Survivors include three nieces, Ruth Vaiden and Nancy Ray, both of Jackson and Martha Boyd of Columbus; two nephews, Wallace Gray of Brooksville and Dr. Marion Gray of Macon.

Services for Estelle F. "Toby" Long were held Friday at 3 p.m. at Jones Chapel Church of God with the Rev. Ron Leonard officiating. Burial was held in the church cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Long, 84, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was a retired floral designer at Rogers Florist.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca L. Thomas and a granddaughter, Belinda T. Bester and her husband, Joe, all of Meridian; a grandson, Jamie Thomas and his wife, Diann of Meridian; and Brian K. Thomas and his wife, Lisa, of Shreveport,La.; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Polly Weekley of Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.P. "Red" Long.

Arrangements were incomplete at Enterprise Funeral Home for Arthur Jones, 47, of Oklahoma City, Okla., who died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
