Mr. and Mrs. George Lynn Hill of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Cecily Anne, to James Brad Lowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. James David Lowe of Gadsden, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Donnelly House and Gardens in Birmingham, Ala.
Miss Hill is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Earl Hill Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Elston Ragland.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and received a bachelor's of fine arts degree from Mississippi State University.
While at MSU, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and was a student recruiter.
Mr. Lowe is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Perry Pillow, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James David Lowe.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southside High School in Gadsden and received a bachelor's degree from Birmingham-Southern College.
While at Birmingham Southern, he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity.
Mr. Lowe is employed by Tieco of Birmingham.
A reception will be held at the Historic Donnelly House and Gardens following the ceremony.
