Highland Baptist Church was the setting for the Saturday, June 22, 2002, wedding of Brandy Dawn Logan and Kyle Dennis Null. The Rev. Dr. Carl White conducted the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are P.A. and Beverly Thrash of Meridian and the late Aubry Logan Sr. of Gilbertown, Ala., and Dennis and Gloria Null of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Virgie Mae Logan of Gilbertown and the late Jack Logan and the late Wallace and Effie Mae Neal of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Billy and DeLoris Watkins of Meridian, and Ray and Uldean Null of Collinsville.
Nuptial music was provided by JoAnn Grantham, organist; Greer Goldman, pianist; Shelly Thrash and Kaitlin Winham, vocalists.
Escorted by her step-father, the bride wore a two-piece white gown of dull satin and re-embroidered lace. The sculpted strapless bodice trimmed with re-embroidered lace and scattered with beads and featured at corset-tie back. The chapel-length train and the bodice was accented with self-covered buttons. She wore a veil of double-tiered illusion edged with satin cording and anchored by a headpiece of pearls and crystals.
The bride carried a bouquet of pale peach osiana roses and porelina blush spray roses accented with baby's breath and handtied with white organza ribbon.
Joni Haguewood of Meridian served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Apryl Null of Meridian, sister of the bridegroom, Nicole Whittington of Silas, Ala., Melanie Walton of Florence, Ala., and Misty Cozart and Kelly Meadows of Meridian.
Kelsey White of Meridian, niece of the bride, served as flower girl. Caleb Logan of Meridian, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Aubry Logan Jr., brother of the bride, Scott Brasier, Richard French, Brad Bauer and Clark Thomas.
Ushers were Joe and Jason White, brothers of the bride, Andrew Buie and Ryan Duncan, all of Meridian.
Bell attendants were Hayley and Kennedy White, nieces of the bride, and Marissa and Kristen Gordy, cousins of the bridegroom. Program attendant was Jennifer Chesney. Erin Harper was registry attendant.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents entertained the wedding party and family with a garden theme rehearsal dinner in the tearoom at Highland Baptist Church.
A reception was held in the tearoom at the church following the ceremony. Attendants at the reception were Heather French, Joanna Briscoe, Augusta Holloway, Angela Buie and Angie White.
After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Oxford.
