Services for Cornelius Nathan Moore will be held today at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Moore, 95, of Marion, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro.
He was retired from the Atomic Energy Plant in Oak Ridge, Tenn. He was a veteran of World War II. He participated in France on D-Day, then into Belgium, returning to the United States after the war to work in Oak Ridge. Mr. Moore was awarded the Croix De Guerre Medal for galant action in the World War II by the French government. He moved to Marion in 1980.
He was married to Juanita Waggoner of Carthage who died in July 1960. He then married Sybil Fletcher of Kingsport, Tenn.
Survivors include his daughter, Connie Susan Moore; granddaughters, Safia, Aundrea and Skylar Brooke Garrett; four sisters, Mary Moore Ethridge and Opal Moore Mitchell, both of Meridian, Masie Moore Winstead of Gulfport and Mazine Moore Winstead of Philadelphia; two brothers, Windell H. Moore of Cedar Grove, N.C., and Mason T. Moore of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ellis Moore and Clarinda Ann Sikes Moore; a sister, Fannie Lee Moore Tingle; and a brother, James "Jimmie" William Moore, both of Philadelphia.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Keith Tingle, Gerald Mitchell, Gerry Mitchell, Thomas Moore, Alan Winstead and David Winstead.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Wagner, Scott Gray, Leslie Gates and James O. "Jimmy" Garrett Jr.
MEDRIC L. ROBERTSON

PHILADELPHIA Services for Medric L. "Med" Robertson were to be held today at 11 a.m. at Sandtown United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ray Stokes and Jeff Switzer officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Robertson, 77, of Ridgeland, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Gwin Robertson of Ridgeland; three sisters, Odessa Whitehead of Ridgeland, Deloris Gressett of Chunky and Marvel Crawford of Philadelphia; four brothers, James Robertson of Philadelphia, Bobby G. Robertson of Jackson, Alton Robertson of Madison and Charley Robertson of Philadelphia.
JOHNNIE DORSEY

Services for Johnnie Dorsey will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Dorsey, 72, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at R.P. White Nursing Center.
Survivors include his son, John Dorsey and his wife, Shucretia, of Meridian; a sister, Mattie Hardy of Meridian; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
