SARA HINKLE HINES
MACON Services for Sara Hinkle Hines will be held today at 11 a.m. at Brooksville Baptist Church with the Revs. Olen Hutchins, Bob Myers and Cornell Daughtry officiating. Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hines, 70, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle Hospital in Columbus.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Hines Harris of Woodstock, Ga.; two sons, Walter "Bubba" Hines of Brooksville and Gary Hines of Macon; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Liz White of Louisville; two brothers, Walter Hinkle of Gulfport and Jimmy Hinkle of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, S.M. "Jiggs" Hines.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Brooksville Baptist Church.
WALTER HAROLD THOMPSON
Radiology department employee
Services for Walter Harold Thompson will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Travis McManus, Charles Miles and Leslie Aucoin officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson, 57, of Meridian, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at Riley Hospital. He was an employee of the radiology department of Riley Hospital and a member of Lakeview Worship Center, where he served as a deacon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Thompson of Meridian; two sons, Michael Thompson and his wife, Pam, of Meridian and Darrell Thompson of Jackson; a brother, Edsel Thompson; six sisters, Frances Robinson, Jewel Tisdale and Hazel Jackson, all of Meridian, Annette Harmon of Waynesboro, Willodean Hines of Meridian and Dorothy Hildreth of Macon, Ga.; three grandchildren, Tyler, Ben and Will Thompson; and his mother-in-law, Rosa Wells of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Thompson.
The family requests memorials be made to Lakeview Worship Center.
VIRGINIA FRAYSUR
Services for Virginia Fraysur will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Boles officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus.
Mrs. Fraysur, 68, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was a member of the Evangel Temple Church and past president of the Pilots Club of Columbus.
Survivors include her son, Rusty Fraysur and his wife, Jennifer, of Meridian; a daughter, Susan Fraysur Ament and her husband, Rob, of Merritt Island, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Patrick and Shannon Ament, Brad Allen, Kyle, Ben and Jacob Fraysur and Gina Grace Fraysur; a sister, Sue Commander of Brookhaven; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Marion W. Fraysur; and a son, Robert Fraysur.
Memorials may be made to the Evangel Temple Building Fund or the Holy Name of Jesus School in Indiatlantic, Fla.
Pallbearers will be Tom Younger, Ken McAnn, Denny Wilbanks, Joe Fondren, Malcolm Crawford, Phil McGuire, Buzzy McGuire and Joe Thompson.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
JOAN IRENE DAVIS
Services for Joan Irene Davis will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis, 68, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, in Quitman.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
T. L. NICKS
Services for T.L. Nicks will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Little Rock Baptist Church in Hickory with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Nicks, 101, of Enterprise, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, in his home.
Survivors include a niece, Ora Nicks of Enterprise; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jim Nicks and Nellie Moore; a daughter, Lois Roberts; a sister and seven brothers.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services will be held at a later date for Hugh Rigby Eggerton Sr. Burial will be in Montgomery, Ala., at a later date. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Eggerton, 85, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Ward Eggerton; a brother, Fred V. Eggerton; a sister, Ruth Sockoloskie; a stepdaughter, Lou Herbert; two sons, John Mark and Hugh Rigby Jr.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at East End Methodist Church.

NEWTON Graveside services for Evelyn Castle Flake were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Newton Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Campbell officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Flake, 81, of Marks, formerly of Newton, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. She was a homemaker and a secretary for the U.S. Navy. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marks.
Survivors include her husband, Charles N. Flake of Marks; a daughter, Pamela Johnson of Long Beach; a son, David Auter of Wichita, Kan.; five stepdaughters, Donna Regel of Bartlett, Tenn., Peggie Roberts of Mobile, Ala., Sandra Irby of Gulfport, Susan Schmitt of Germantown, Tenn., and Judy Flake of Jackson; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George A. and Tempie Sharp Castle.
