Services for John Roy "Bud" Jordan will be held today at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Hal Bates and Dr. David Sellers officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist Church Collinsville Cemetery.
Mr. Jordan, 61, of Collinsville, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine S. Jordan of Collinsville; a daughter, Amy Jones and her husband, Terry, of Shreveport, La.; a son, Roger Jordan and his wife, Belinda, of Meridian; a sister, Mary Jane Arledge and her husband, Jimmy, of Meridian; grandchildren, Rankin and Brelanne Jordan of Meridian, Corp. Jeremy Jones of Camp Green River, N.C., and Heather Jones of Petal.
Pallbearers will be Jim Miller, Ray Hedgepeth, Jerry Walker, Carey Williamson, Clyde Walker Jr., and Bill Gunn. Honorary pallbearers will be Rod Hitt, LaDalton Edwards, Hollis Calvert, Mark Sharp, A.J. Wedgeworth, Jerry Crenshaw and the Adult Men's Sunday School Class.

Graveside services for Janet Henry will be held today at 2 p.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Sawyer officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Henry, 58, of Inverness, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla. She was born Sept. 21, 1943, in Meridian to Thomas Clark and Virginia Armstrong Jones. She returned to Meridian from Clinton in 1982. She was a member of Lakeside Country Club and a volunteer at Lakes Region Library. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Willard Henry Jr. of Inverness; a son, Thomas Earl Brannan of Easley, S.C.; a step-son, Gary Henry of St. Francisville, La.; two daughters, Christine Snyder of Brandon and Judy Lynn Dear of Morton; a step-daughter, Patti Henry of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Robert Jones of Missouri; and a sister, Mary Ruth Cullum of Decatur; and a very special niece, Teresa Dearing and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Clarence David Brannan in 1988.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Services for Josephine S. Shelby will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Ward officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shelby, 82, of Toomsuba, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice. She was retired from the Burnley Shirt Factory. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in the Kewannee Community.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Shelby and his wife, Susanne, of Toomsuba, and Wanda Shelby Rainer and her husband, Rodney, of Toomsuba; grandchildren, Daricek Shelby and his wife, Crystal, of Meridian, Jennifer O'Brien of Alabama, Lamar Shelby, Michelle and Trisha Rainer all of Toomsuba; sisters, Hazel Shelby and Evelyn Shelton, both of Toomsuba; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Henry Moore of Quitman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Shelby.
Memorials may be made to Heartfelt Hospice or to a favorite charity.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dunn, 83, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Dickson of McLain; a son, Miller Dunn of Philadelphia and a sister, Lois Forbes of Chunky; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Velma Lucille Presley Mosley will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Anthony Dykes, Curtis Morris and Junior Long officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Toxey, Ala.
Mrs. Mosely, 81, of Chatom, Ala., died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala. She was a retired seamstress for Choctaw Manufacturing.
Survivors include her sons, James Gibson of Selma, Ala. and Jerry Gibson of Buckatunna; and a daughter, Janice Mosley of Millry,Ala.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
