League softball games becoming more frequent

Division games are becoming more and more frequent as the slow-pitch softball season enters its midway point.
A glut of Division 6-1A games are on tap for today. Lake is at Union, Nanih Waiya is at Noxapater, and Sebastopol goes to Edinburg. In a Division 5-3A schedule change, Philadelphia hosts Newton County today. Forest goes to Collins.
In Tuesday's Division 5-2A action, Enterprise is at Bay Springs and Clarkdale goes to Taylorsville.
Division 5-3A action on Tuesday has Carthage at West Lauderdale. In Division 2-4A, Neshoba Central travels to West Point. In other Tuesday games, Meridian hosts Wayne County, Louisville visits Newton, and Terry is at Forest.
Top-ranked New Hope travels to Neshoba Central in Division 2-4A action on Thursday. In 5-3A, West Lauderdale hosts Philadelphia and Choctaw Central is at Carthage. In 5-2A, Bay Springs is at Newton and Enterprise hosts Taylorsville.
In 6-1A on Thursday, Nanih Waiya hosts Edinburg, Noxapater is at Lake, and Union goes to Sebastopol.
In other games, Clarkdale is at Southeast Lauderdale and Quitman visits Meridian.
Three teams will be playing on Saturday. Newton County will compete in the Clinton Tournament, while Enterprise will host Northeast Lauderdale in a doubleheader.
In this week's fast-pitch action, Leake Academy hosts Hillcrest Christian today and plays in the Hillcrest Tournament Saturday in Jackson.
