QUITMAN Memorial services for Minnie Wilson were to be held today at 11 a.m. at Turner Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Wilson, 81, of Stonewall, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
CARROL MAXINE FORD

Graveside services for Carrol Maxine Ford were to be today at 11:30 a.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Mitchel McDonald officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ford, 93, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, at Horizon Hospice in Quitman.
Survivors include her sons, Billy O. Ford Sr. and his wife, Mary, of Quitman, H.C. Ford and his wife, Paula, of Birmingham, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Billy O. Ford Jr. and his wife, Christie, R. Chris Ford and his wife, Pam, Liz Johnson, Katherine Moore, Leslie Ford Underwood and her husband, George Jr., Alison Jenkins, Claudia Ford Hardcastle and her husband, Owen, and Janie Ford; 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clayton Ford; a twin brother, Arlene Hamilton; a sister, Mildred Hamilton; and a grandson, Michael Hamilton "Mickey" Ford.
Pallbearers will be Owen Hardcastle, Bill Ford, Ray Smith, Dan Moore, George Underwood Jr. and Curt Ford.
Honorary pallbearers were Terry Ford, Kenny Ford, Quitman Ford, Lonnie Jones and Tommy Neal.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Josie Monk will be held today at 2 p.m. at Golden Grove Church of God with the Revs. Junior Price and Wayne King officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Monk, 83, of Walnut Grove, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, at Carthage Health Care Center. She was a life time member of Golden Grove Church of God.
Survivors include her daughters, Frances Price of Walnut Grove and Brenda Yates of Philadelphia; a son, Welton Monk of Walnut Grove; a sister, Lena Faye Boykin of Conehatta; a brother, James Goss of Morton; 12 grandchildren and one special granddaughter, Rita Wilkerson of Lake; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Monk; and a son, Mason Monk.
Pallbearers will be Carlton Moore, Glenn Monk, Robbye Gilmer, Kelly Ray Clark, Ricky Moore, Doc Cooper, Michael Moore and Charles Sistrunk.

YORK, Ala. Services for Harold Baty will be held today at 2 p.m. at Livingston United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tim Meadows and George Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Livingston Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Baty, of Tuscumbia, Ala., died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, in Tuscumbia.
Survivors include his wife, Betty R. Baty of Tuscumbia; his mother, Sara Boyd Baty of Livingston, Ala.; a daughter, Lindsey Baty Marks; and a son, Jess Eugene Baty, both of Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Rita Bonner of Livingston; and two grandchildren.
JAMES W. HALLFORD

PHILADELPHIA Services for James W. "Jim" Hallford will be held today at 3 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Runnels officiating. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Hallford, 70, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from the Neshoba County School Bus Garage and a security guard. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ward Hallford of Philadelphia; six daughters, Cathy Gore and Sharon Morgan, both of Slidell, La., Sharon Harrison, Theresa Sims, Sylvia Majure and Syble Jones, all of Philadelphia; three sons, Rudolph "Rudy" Hallford of Kenner, La., James "Jimmy" Hallford Jr. of Phoenix and Kenneth W. Collins of Philadelphia; a sister, Dollie Peebles of Philadelphia; a brother, Billy J. Hallford of Conehatta; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Stone, Mary Lou Hallford and Emma Frances Hallford.
