Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. McNeil Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel F. Jay Jr. announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Irene Jay of Newton, to William Scott Lindley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Lindley of Hattiesburg.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Newton.
Miss Jay is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levoy P. Jones Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel F. Jay Sr.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in business management. She is an assistant manager at Wal-Mart in Wiggins.
Mr. Lindley is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Erle Johnston of Forest, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lindley of Del Rio, Texas.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in criminal justice. He is an assistant manager at Wal-Mart in Petal and is a captain in the Mississippi Army National Guard.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
