Graveside services for Nadyne Jumper Schindler were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Gulf Coast Mausoleum with the Rev. Ed Murphy officiating. Stephens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Schindler, 68, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Schindler was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. She taught school at Bay St. Louis in the Waveland District.
Survivors include a daughter, Julie Schindler Bryan and her husband, David, and a grandson, David Ray Bryan, all of Sevierville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Albert Schindler and her mother, Julia Moulds Jumper.

Services for Sylvester Hudson Sr. will be held today at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Carey McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery with Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sylvester, 93, of Collinsville, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002, in Meridian.
Survivors include his son, Sylvester Hudson Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., three daughters, Mary Gardner and Cora Francis Hudson, both of Chicago; and Patsy Ann Scott of Atlanta; a sister, Alma Payne of Collinsville; 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

WAYNESBORO Services for Jonathan Brooks Morris will be held today at 2 p.m. at Faith Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Troy Drew, C.A. Farmer, Edgar Reed and Ralph Francis officiating. Burial will be in Archusa Memorial Gardens with Freeman Funeral Home, Inc. of Waynesboro in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Morris, 19, of Waynesboro, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church, served as a fire escape youth minister and was a member of the drama team as well as praise and worship team.
Survivors include his father, Gary Morris, his mother, Sherry Morris, maternal grandparents, James and Ann Holifield, paternal grandparents, Curtis and Bonnie Morris, a great-grandmother, Catherine Davis, and two sisters, Sheree Morris and Lauren Morris, all of Waynesboro.

QUITMAN Services for Evelyn Simmons Sykes will be held today at 2 p.m. at First Methodist Church with the Revs. Russell Luquire, Connie Shelton and Mitchell McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sykes, 79, of Quitman, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, James C. Sykes; a son Ron Sykes and his wife, Sylvia, all of Quitman; a daughter, Sue Ann Robinson of San Antonio; three brothers, John Simmons of Meridian, Armond Simmons of Pell City,Ala., and Dr. Marion Lee Simmons of Bridgewater, Va.; two sisters, Frances Sparacino of Meridian and Margaret Jackson of Hattiesburg; four grandchildren, Rebecca Hill and her husband, Craig, of New Braunfels,Texas, Michael Robinson of Key West, Fla., Jamie Sykes and his wife, Pam, of Murphreesboro,Tenn., and Andrea White and her husband, Michael, of Columbus and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four children, Jenny Lynn Sykes, Betty Simmons Sykes, Richard Sykes and Robert Sykes.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Jimmy McLain will be held today at 3 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. John Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Sandtown Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. McLain, 62, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at Neshoba County General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Maria G. McLain of Philadelphia; three daughters, Sandy Garcia of Jackson; and Cindy Stephens and Kim McLain, both of Philadelphia; a son, Jimmy Bryan McLain, a sister, Nanda Eakes, and a brother, Jack McLain, all of Philadelphia; and six grandchildren.

Services for Alline Ethel Dimmett will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Calvary Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Chuck Overby officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dimmett, 59, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Dimmett was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church in Meridian where she served as secretary treasurer, trustee and church musician.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Ralph E. Dimmett, a daughter, Dawanna Renee Budd, of Crossville, Tenn.; two sons, James Budd of Meridian; and Hank Budd of Indianapolis; one grandson, Jonathan Ellenburg-Budd of Crossville; a special friend, Jackie Laube of Plainfield, Ind.; her twin sister, Erlene Robinson of Indianapolis; three sisters, Marie Bowers, Joan Gay and Mary Kidd, all of Meridian; a brother, Ted Robinson of Quitman; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Opal Robinson, a brother, Donald Robinson, a sister, Lucille Smith and her husband, Jack E. Budd.
Pallbearers will be Greg Morgan, Brian Cottrell, Raydon Cook, Stacy Ford, Shane Ford and Thomas Robinson.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
