The smooth R&B sounds of singer Keith Sweat return to the Pearl River Resort on Sept. 21 when the nationally known performer takes the stage at the Silver Star Convention Center.
Sweat has been making his mark on the music industry for more than a decade. During his 15-year career, he has released seven albums that have reached top-five status, including five straight chart-toppers that started with his 1987 era-changing debut, "Make it Last Forever."
The Harlem-born artist's singles have sold as well as his albums, with seven of his 15 top-10 singles reaching top billing.
Sweat's latest release, Rebirth, continues a tradition of smooth ballads and energetic grooves that his fans have come to love.
Keith said he holds a Sinatra-esque respect for both his fans and his material that keeps us coming' back for more, again and again. "They know me and I know them," Sweat said in a recent interview.
And now, on his eighth album, he purposefully captures both the past and the future, unleashing a masterpiece of slowjams and uptempo numbers that recall not only his roots, but also the incredible journey that has brought him to this moment.
