NEWTON Services for Mason O'Neil Baucum Jr. will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton with the Rev. Jerry Gressett officiating. Burial will be in Concord Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Baucum, 64, of Newton, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2002, at Newton Regional Hospital. He was retired from Michelin Tire Co.
Survivors include his wife, Freda Katherine Baucum of Newton; three sons, Joe Baucum of Newton and James Baucum and John Baucum, both of Hickory; a sister, Joyce Brown of Newton; a brother, Luther Baucum of Lawrence, Ga.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mason O'Neil Baucum Sr. and Zena Boone Baucum.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
KRISTIN XAVIER LOFTON
Services for Kristin Xavier Lofton will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Parker officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in the Shucktown community.
Kristin, age two months, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, at her home.
Survivors include her father, LaShawn Lofton Sr., and her mother, Rosetta Marsh, both of Meridian; two sisters, Rolanda Marsh and Shicarra Marsh, both of Meridian; two brothers, LaShawn Lofton Jr., and LaSalle Lofton, both of Meridian; and grandparents Yolanda Marsh, Robert Marsh, Renita Thomas and James Lofton, all of Meridian.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
ALVIN G. REDMAN
Retired electrical technician
CAMDEN, Tenn. Services for Alvin G. Redman will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden with the Rev. Kenneth Zike officiating. Burial will be in Benton Memorial Garden.
Mr. Redman, 74, of Eva and formerly of Meridian, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was a retired electrical technician with the Federal Aviation Administration.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna Mayo of Columbia, Tenn., and Winifred Glen Redman of Lacey, Wash.; and grandchildren Julie and Michael Redman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin C. Redman and Mamie L. Huggins Redman.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

NEWTON Services for Lula Elizabeth Tillman will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with the Revs. David Jay and J.B. Costilow officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tillman, 87, of Newton, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala. She was born in Jasper County, was a sales clerk at Shopperfair in Jasper County and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Evans of Semmes, Ala., and Ray Evans of Mobile, Ala.; a sister, Eloise Garvin of Newton; four brothers, Douglas Jay and W.F. Jay, both of Newton, Clyde Jay of Delhi, La., and Clois Jay of Orange, Texas; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rubin and Nina Walker Jay; and a son, John Corbin Jay.
Pallbearers will be Donny Evans, Paul Edward Evans Jr., Robert Evans, Chris Thorne and Paul Vanadore.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
VIRGINIA ECKELS FARRELL
Services for Virginia Eckels Farrell will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Prospect Presbyterian Church with Dr. Reid Whittington officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Farrell, 87, a former Meridian resident, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, at Norton Healthcare Pavillion in Louisville, Ky. She taught school in Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi and was a member of Prospect Presbyterian Church of Meridian.
Survivors include two children, Sarah Grant and Chauncey E. Farrell; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Chauncey V. Farrell, whom she accompanied in pastorates in Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.

DEMARICE ANN GORDON

SIDELL, Ill. Graveside services for Demarice Ann Gordon will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian. James F. Webb Funeral Home of Meridian is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Gordon, 56, of Sidell and formerly of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, at Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago. She was a surgical technician at Katy Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Survivors include a son, Devon Bonnette of Woodstock, Ill.; two daughters, Beth Bonnette and Holly White, both of Houston, Texas; a brother, David Gordon of Madison; two sisters, Canty Robbins of Bartlett, Tenn., and Jill Hutto of Pope; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the missionary fund of Faith Methodist Church in care of Robison Chapel at Catlin, Ill.
