Four Meridian residents were charged Monday in the early Sunday burglary of Club 80 on Highway 80 West.
The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department received an alarm call at about 3 a.m. Sunday. A deputy met a representative of the business who said he had seen a vehicle parked down the road.
Betty Ann Singleton, 32, 376 Jeffery Acres Road, and Betty Ann Scott, 31, 4320 36th Ave., were both charged with accessory before the fact to burglary of a commercial building. Bond was set at $10,000 each.
Other deputies responded to the call and arrested Dana A. Criddle, 35, 2407 Valley Road, Lot 121, and Richard W. Jackson, 34, 5301 Causeyville Road. Both were charged with burglary of a commercial building and bond was set at $15,000 each.
Maj. Ward Calhoun of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department said several coin-operated pool tables in the club had been broken into and that beer and other items were taken from the business.
