Services for Evie D. Collier will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Arundel Road with the Rev. Odell Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Collier, 82, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, in her home. She was retired from Meridian Regional Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn McClelland and her husband, Willie, of Meridian; a sister, Earline Paten of Bailey; two brothers, Harold Thomas and his wife, Annie, of Colonial Heights, Va., and William A. Thomas of Manchester, N.H.; grandchildren, Elton L. Collier Sr. and his wife, Shadonda, Stephanie R. Collier, Tawanda McClelland and William C. McClelland, all of Meridian, and Eddie D. Tubb of Chamberburg, Va.; one step-granddaughter, Rhonda M. Clark of Meridian; six great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Cora Lee Thomas of Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Collie; her parents, William and Mary Thomas; and a brother, Otis Thomas Sr.
Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for Maxine Hastings Hammack will be held today at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bryan Scarbrough and Jerry Doggett officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hammack, 84, of Quitman, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hammack was a native of Webster County and had lived in Quitman most of her life. She was a talented homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was devoted to her family.
Survivors include her husband, H.B. Hammack of Quitman; a son Bill Hammack and his wife, Judy, of Meridian; a daughter, Judy Gray and her husband, Gordon, of Cashiers, N.C.; grandchildren, Scott and Greg Dedwylder of Quitman, Blair McMahan and Will Hammack, both of Meridian; two great-grandchildren; nephews, Clay Hammack and John Hammack, both of Hattiesburg, and Corry Hammack of Corn Creek, Ala.; and a niece, Barbara Hastings of Soludo, N.C.
Pallbearers will be David Grayson, Walter Gunn, Carter Jones, Glynn Wright, Jim Potuck, Al Vowell and Eddie Ivy.

Mrs. Ivey, 82, of Quitman, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include her husband, Evan Woodrow Ivey of Quitman; two sons, Bobby Ivey and his wife, Wanda, of Shepherd, Texas, and Roger Ivey of Tampa, Fla.; daughters, Glenda Riley and her husband, Wayne, of Meridian and Nelda Holley and her husband, Jeff, of Tampa; two brothers, Klein Prince and Joyce Kelly, both of Stonewall; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
LINNIE FRAIZER
SEBASTOPOL Services for Linnie Fraizer will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Doby Henry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fraizer, 69, a resident of the Choctaw Residential Center, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, in Philadelphia.
Survivors include her six daughters, Betty Waltman, Valrie Fraizer, Susan Fraizer and Eva Lynn Fraizer, all of Philadelphia, Jill Robinson of DeKalb and Emma Sam of Carthage; four sons, Dan Fraizer of Philadelphia, Andy Fraizer of Memphis, Tenn., David Grant Fraizer Sr. of Pine Ridge, S.D., and Odell Fraizer Sr. of Carthage; a brother, Russell Vaughn Sr. of Philadelphia; 36 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fraizer Fraizer.

SEBASTOPOL Services for M.C. "Pat" Comans were held Oct. 3, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tony Wilson and Mark Copeland officiating. Burial was in Rocky Hill Church of God Cemetery in Union.
Mr. Comans, 74, of Sebastopol, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at Laird Hospital in Union.
Survivors included his daughter, Diane Dickerson of Sebastopol; brothers, Ray Comans of Navarre Beach, Fla., and Fonzy Comans of Pearl; sisters, Marline Wolverton of Mississippi, Mildred Sistrunk of Sebastopol and Joy Lovern of Philadelphia; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
