Manian Elise "Mandy" Snell and Jeremy Walter Collins, both of Toomsuba, were married Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at Lauderdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Jay Cook officiating.
Parents of the couple are Tommy and Libby Snell, and Dale and Gay Collins, all of Toomsuba.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Horace L. Scott, the late Nondas Scott and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Snell, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Margaret Pritchett of Toomsuba and the late Tommy Pritchett, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Odie Collins of Quitman.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Margie Scott, vocalist; Mike Scott, vocalist, trumpeter and flugelhornist; and Dennis McLemore, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white formal two piece gown of matte satin and Venise lace. The fitted bodice featured an overlay of lace, embroidered appliques, pearls and a lace-up back. The back of the gown featured box pleats and flowed into a chapel-length train.
Kassidy Lei Snell of Toomsuba attended the bride as maid of honor.
Other attendants were Carla Coulliette of Toomsuba, Ashley Scott of North Little Rock, Ark., Joy Cramblitt of Meridian and Katharine Gambill of Meridian.
Junior bridesmaid was Brittany Pearson of Lauderdale. Savannah Adams of Toomsuba was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Eric Collins and Daniel Fout of Toomsuba, Josh Wright of Meridian, Ross Dial of Milville, Ala., Ryan Ward, Brian Irby and Michael Churchill of Toomsuba and Jimmy Scott of North Little Rock.
Matt Snell of Toomsuba was ring bearer.
Flower petal attendants were Miranda and Cullin Snell.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Meagan Garrett, Blair Manning, Rebekah McKay, Jessica Vinson and Melissa Brents. The couple left the reception in a horse drawn carriage.
After a honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, the couple resides in Livingston, Ala.
