Mall bookstore closes

Officials with Books-A-Million have closed their Bookland store inside Bonita Lakes Mall, citing a slump in sales.
Sherrie Dalton, store manager of Books-A-Million's main store outside the mall, said Bookland closed for good Jan. 11, vacating its location near the food court.
Bookland whose parent company is Books-A-Million has been in the mall since the shopping center opened in 1997.
