50th Anniversary
Woodrow and Carlene Allen celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday, May 3, 2003, with a reception given by their
children at the home of their daughter, Brenda Hudnell. They were married on May 2, 1953. The Allens have three children, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
50th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Chambers will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception hosted by their children from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Wesley United Methodist Church annex in Meridian. The Chambers have three daughters, Cheri Townsend, Cynthia Chambers and the late Mary McLendon; three sons, Ronald Chambers, Terry Chambers and Richard Chambers; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The Chambers were married May 31, 1953, at Wesley United Methodist Church. Mr. Chambers worked many years at Sears and as a Methodist minister; Mrs. Chambers worked at Rush
Medical Group.
47th Anniversary
Magalene and Bubba Miller celebrated their 47th anniversary on Friday, May 16, 2003. The Millers were married May 16, 1956, in Houston, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Miller have five children: Joye Wilson, the late O'Neal Roebuck, Eddie Miller, Wally Miller and Wayne Roebuck.
