Two people remained in jail today after being arrested Sunday in connection with a burglary at Northeast High School.
Lauderdale County sheriff's deputies arrested Barry Robinson, 22, 8264 Headstart Road. They also arrested a 15-year-old, whose name they would not release because of his age. Both were being held on burglary charges.
Major Ward Calhoun, the sheriff's department spokesman, said law officers arrived at the school after the alarm was activated at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Marion police were the first to arrive on the scene.
Sheriff's deputies then arrested the two suspects.
Calhoun also said Northeast Middle School was burglarized and that detectives are investigating whether that was connected to the Northeast High incident. Computers and other equipment were taken from Northeast Middle School.
