Are You the Real Thing?' talent finals are Saturday

Seven more contestants have advanced to Saturday's finals in the first annual "Are You The Real Thing?" talent contest.
Radio station WOKK, Meridian Coca-Cola and Bonita Lakes Mall have teamed up to find the area's most talented individual or group. Round 1 was May 10 and produced six finalists. Seven finalists were selected in Round 2 on May 17 at Bonita Lakes Mall.
Finalists include Marsha Clarke of DeKalb; Heather Garrett of Meridian; Stephen Herrington of Quitman; Cheryl Luquire of Meridian; Holli Marie Mosely of Mobile, Ala.; Chris Nowell of Meridian; and Eric Smith of Stonewall.
These seven will face the winners from Round 1, which included Madison Hardy of Philadelphia; Lori Joyner and Erica Rowell of Quitman; and Natalie Beard, Lori Segouia and Ashley Williamson, all of Meridian.
The 13 finalists will each perform two songs during the finals set to begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at Bonita Lakes Mall's Center Court.
The finalists will be judged on vocal performance, stage presence and audience participation.
The winner will receive a trophy, $1,000 cash, a $1,000 mall shopping spree, a year's supply of Coca-Cola, 10 front row seats to the Rockin' Road House Tour Concert set for May 30 at the Lauderdale County Agri-Center and the opportunity to open for the concert.
Second and third place winners will each receive a trophy and a cash prize.
Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
