PHILADELPHIA Services for Bill Jones will be held today at 3 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church in the Burnside Community of Neshoba County with the Rev. Dennis Duvall officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jones, 79, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his son, Glynn Jones of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; sisters, Elma Smith of Jackson and Mattie Davis of Philadelphia; brothers, J.C. Jones of Kosciusko, L.V. Jones of Noxapater and Floyd Jones Jr. of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jones; and a sister, Thelma Jiles.
Tug boat captain
Graveside services for Callie Bruce Robison will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Robison, 77, of Meridian, died Sunday, April 20, 2003, in his home. He lived in Burwick, La., for more than 20 years and for the past 15 years in Meridian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Robison of Meridian; a son, Bruce Eugene Robison of Dallas; step-daughters, Lynn Smith of Meridian, Diane LaCalle of Pensacola, Fla., Tammie Viger of Virginia Beach, Va., and Kay Costanza of New Orleans; a step-son, Doug Allen of Tupelo; a nephew, Wesley Robison of Jasper, Texas; nine grandsons, three granddaughters, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Jerry L. Easterling, 53, of Meridian, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
