Meridian schools offer free lunches

The Meridian Public Schools Food Service Department will sponsor a Summer Feeding Program through July 25.
Free lunches will will be served at the cafeteria at Harris Upper Elementary School from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. The school is at 3951 12th St.,. No application is needed and all children 18 and under are eligible to participate.
Free sack lunches will be available until June 27 at four other schools. Come by Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m.-noon at:
Carver Middle School, 900 44th Ave.;
Crestwood Elementary, 730 Crestwood Drive;
Oakland Heights Elementary, 601 59th Ave.; and
Witherspoon Elementary, 1516 12th Ave.
