Wednesday Classmates from Meridian High School Class of 1950 meet at Rush Foundation Hospital cafeteria at 9 a.m. All classmates are invited to attend.
Friday-Saturday Meridian High School Class of 1968 reunion. Events will be at Howard Johnson's. The cost is $25 per person. Please make advance reservations. June 28 The first Joel Wright extended family reunion will be at Mt. Gilead Baptist church beginning at 9:30 a.m. Joel Wright and Mary Ann Pollu Harrington moved from North Carolina to Lauderdale County with 10 children, between 1850 and 1860. June 28 McNair Family Reunion 2003 will be at Union City Park Pavilion beginning at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon. Bring a covered dish. Optional: bring a fun or useful item (under $5) to be given away as a door prize. Tea, water, soft drinks and paper goods will be provided. July 5 The Conehatta School reunion will be at the Conehatta Community Club House beginning at 10 a.m. with the ringing of the old school bell. Bring a pot-luck lunch. At 1 p.m. there will be a political rally on the grounds. All state and local candidates are invited to attend.
