The WTOK Production Department was recognized by the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters during its annual convention with a Gold and Silver award during the Excellence in Broadcasting awards.
The convention was in Biloxi.
The Commercial Campaign Announcement produced for Bonita Lakes Mall, "Santa's Coming," received the Gold Award. The Silver Award was for the commercial announcement produced for Rhonda's Connection, "Turning Heads."
The MAB is a nonprofit trade association for radio and television stations in Mississippi. Its purpose is to assist members with broadcast industry and general business related challenges.
MAB members are offered educational seminars, legal hotlines, lobbying representation, updates on industry trends, and opportunities to network with other broadcasters.
