Ashley Allen of Stonewall and Christopher Reeves of Quitman were married Saturday, April 5, 2003, at First Baptist Church of Quitman, with the Rev. Gary Phillips officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donnie D. Allen of Stonewall, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Reeves of Quitman.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Christian of Quitman, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Etell Allen of Stonewall.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Rozzell and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Reeves, all of Quitman, and the late Joe Mason of Meridian. Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Rebecca Kelly of Quitman.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless white organza gown with crystal beading. It featured a satin asymmetrical drape overskirt with beaded organza panel and bodice that swept into a chapel-length train.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Hammond of Stonewall, sister of the bride. Other attendants were Casey Henry of Brandon, Anna Tindall of Pearl, Jeanie Buckalew of Meridian and Megan Reeves of Quitman.
Taylor White of Quitman was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Bobby Joe Green, Samuel Rhodes and Brooks Wood, all of Quitman, Phillip Scrimpshire of Pachuta, Eric Martin and David Hammond, both of Stonewall.
Greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Chuck McClure and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Hardee. A reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Tonya Stringer, Dana Watson and Ruby Litton.
After a honeymoon at the Beau Rivage of Biloxi, the couple resides in Quitman.
