Friday-Saturday Meridian High School Class of 1983 will hold its 20-year reunion in Meridian this weekend. Friday events include registration and get acquainted at 7 p.m. at Caf Latte, 820 22nd Ave. Saturday events include a family picnic and fun day beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Park. Saturday night events include a dinner and dance at 7 p.m. at Montana's Bar-B-Q &Seafood Restaurant, 2113 Front St. For information call Jamie Bullock Cater at 483-5027.

Friday-Sunday Meridian High School Class of 1978 will have its 25th reunion. Friday, a get-acquainted and registration time will be at Montana's Bar-B-Q &Seafood Restaurant from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday, a dinner will be held at Montana's at 7 p.m. with a dance following; Sunday a memorial service will be held at East Mississippi Electric Power Association at 11 a.m. For information, call 917-6793 or 880-3190. Saturday The descendants and friends of Henry and Louiza Carroll will gather for their sixth annual family reunion at the Pine Ridge Community Center, 17130 Highway 18 E., Quitman. The Pine Ridge Community Center is about 17 miles east of Quitman near the Alabama state line. The reunion will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with a potluck lunch being served at noon. Saturday Oak Grove High School Class of 1993 will have its 10-year reunion. Events are planned for Friday evening and Saturday noon (includes children), and will conclude with a sit-down banquet Saturday evening for graduates and their spouses/dates at Southern Oaks in Hattiesburg. July 26 Members of Meridian High School Class of 1973 have set a date for their 30-year reunion. The event will be at Howard Johnson's. Cost is $45. The reunion committee meets the first Tuesday of each month. For information, visit

The reunion host is Jo Ann Hattix, the oldest granddaughter of Albert Henry Anderson (Racine, Wis). Her mother, Nettie B. (Anderson) Hunter is the daughter of Albert Anderson.
