Friday-Saturday Meridian High School Class of 1983 will hold its 20-year reunion in Meridian this weekend. Friday events include registration and get acquainted at 7 p.m. at Caf Latte, 820 22nd Ave. Saturday events include a family picnic and fun day beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Park. Saturday The descendants and friends of Henry and Louiza Carroll will gather for their sixth annual family reunion at the Pine Ridge Community Center, 17130 Highway 18 E., Quitman. The Pine Ridge Community Center is about 17 miles east of Quitman near the Alabama state line. The reunion will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with a potluck lunch being served at noon.
