QUITMAN Services for Robert Raymond Holified Sr., will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Stonewall Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Terry Steppe and Jimmy Seale officiating. Burial will be in Archusa Memorial Gardens. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Holifield, 71, of Quitman, died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Holifield of Quitman; two sons, Robert R. Holifield Jr., of Quitman and Larry A. Holifield of Enterprise; two daughters, Lana Elaine Lewis of Enterprise and Tammy Delores Hampton of Meridian; four brothers, Charlie Holifield, James Holifield, Sims Holifield and Percy Holifield, all of Waynesboro; three sisters, Annie Donald and Mae Jordan, both of Waynesboro and Helen Hargrove of Salmon, Oregon; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Willie Randle will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Burks officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Toomsuba.
Mr. Randle, 49, of Meridian, died Sunday, July 13, 2003, in his home. He was a retired cook for Pops Diner.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Armstrong Randle of Meridian; a daughter, Catherine Randle; and two sons, Willie Randle Jr., and Kenny R. Randle, all of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six sisters, Eva Randle, Mary Jackson, Annie Williams, Earline Garry, and Pearline Randle, all of Meridian and Glenda Robinson of Oklahoma City; five brothers, Arthur Randle, Robert Randle, Edward Randle, Abraham Randle, and Nathan Randle, all of Meridian; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for the Rev. Willie L. Croft will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church in Newton with the Rev. W.C. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Green Grove Cemetery in Chunky. Berry &Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Croft, 81, of Chunky, died Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Clarine Croft of Chunky; four daughters, Eartha Williams of Newton, Patricia Croft of Meridian, and Gail Donaldson and Shaunda Temple, both of Chunky; two sons, Jeffrey Croft of St. Louis and Shawn Croft of Chunky.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Monday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Nolan Roberts will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Causeyville with the Rev. Greg Baylor officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Berry &Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Roberts, 72, of Meridian, died Thursday, July 17, 2003, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Mae Roberts of Meridian; four daughters, Rosie Davis, Nora Alexander and Daisy Willis, all of Meridian, and Linda Davis of Dallas; three sons, Julius Roberts, Arkent Roberts and Michael Roberts, all of Meridian; a stepdaughter, Manola Erby of Jackson; a stepson, Henry Coleman Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Roxie Childers of Walnut Grove and Ossie Ola Anderson of Bestol, La.; two brothers, Willie Roberts and Jimmie Roberts, both of Meridian; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Maudine Dawson Eshee, 82, of Collinsville, who died Saturday July 19, 2003, in her home.
