Mr. and Mrs. David Meloche of Bailey announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Leigh, to Lee Taylor Higginbotham, son of Rev. and Mrs. Robert Higginbotham of Bailey.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in DeKalb.
Miss Meloche is the great-granddaughter of Ann Auckland of Plymouth, Mich., Marion Meloche of Canton, Mich. and the late Raymond and Mary Hadley of LaGrange, Ga.
She is the granddaughter of Mary B. Shular of Meridian, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Meloche of Westland, Mich.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and received an associate's degree in radiologic sciences from Meridian Community College.
She is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mr. Higginbotham is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Taylor of Meridian, and the late Cannie and Lettie Higginbotham of Laurel.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School, and attended Meridian Community College and Jones County Junior College.
He is employed by Clear Channel Radio in Meridian.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
