Alisha Brooke Burkhalter and Jason Davis Terrillion were married Saturday, April 26, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Spring Hill, Tenn., with the Rev. David Daugherty officiating.
Parents of the couple are Davis and Sharon Burkhalter of Spring Hill, and Debbie and Tim Terrillion of Hermitage, Tenn.
The bride is the granddaughter of Ted and Sarah Sellers of Meridian, Jerry and Mary Davison of Ellensburg, Wash., Gay and Jay Churchwell of Lucedale and the late Jack Burkhalter of Meridian.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Jim and Sandra Terrillion of Norfolk, N.Y., and Henry and June Merithew of Messena, N.Y.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Julie and Jason Martin.
The bride wore an ivory satin A-line ballgown featuring spaghetti straps and a split back accented with hand-beaded trim of pearls and sequins. A matching headpiece anchored her elbow-length veil of ivory tulle. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies.
Melissa Woody served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shelley Moon and Shelli Hart.
Keith Terrillion, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Jason Burkhalter, brother of the bride, Michael Smith, Kyle Thomas, Kevin Fogle and Jerrick Booker.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the church fellowship hall.
The couple resides in Spring Hill, where the bridegroom is employed by Nissan.
