Ashley Pierce of Meridian and Cecil Hester of Enterprise were married Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Chisolm officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Pierce of Meridian, Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Hester of Decatur, and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Chandler of Enterprise.
Grandparents of the bride are Bill and Mae Jewel Sanders and Fairie Null, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Tommy and Clara Crane of Enterprise, Vernon Robinson and Virginia Spooner of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Cindy Barker, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
April Pierce of Meridian, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Other attendant was Merisa Price of Meridian, sister of the bridegroom.
Cody Miller of Enterprise served as best man.
Groomsmen and ushers were Lucas Price and Cole Cardwell, both of Meridian, and Grady Chandler of Enterprise.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Sarah Sanders, Leslie Sanders, Sharon Huffmaster, Amanda McArthur and Faye Carol Reid.
After a honeymoon in Orange Beach, Ala., the couple resides in Enterprise.
