25th anniversary
Wayne and Judy Ainsworth recently spent their 25th anniversary in Gatlinburg, Tenn. The Ainsworths were married in their home at Dalewood by the Rev. Wilton Holden on July 20, 1978. Their children and families will honor the couple with an anniversary celebration today from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at the home of Michael and Linda Clark, 126 Bridge St., Enterprise. Family and friends are invited to attend.
50th anniversary
The children of Jean and Pruitt Smith will host a 50th anniversary reception on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003, from
2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church on Old Eighth Street Road North in Meridian. The couple was married Aug. 8, 1953, in Conehatta. Mr. Smith is retired from the Mississippi Air National Guard. They have three children, Gloria Harris of Petal, Beverly LeBlanc and her husband, Don, of Pine Grove, La., and Garry Smith and his wife, Kellie, of Humble, Texas; and six grandchildren, Justin LeBlanc, Gabe LeBlanc, Valerie LeBlanc, Bryant Lawrence, B.J. Lawrence and Brenna Smith. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts, please.
