Limelight Productions announces the second annual back-to-school music festival on Sunday at Highland Park an event that also will serve as a fund-raiser for a Meridian woman who suffers from severe arthritis.
Scheduled to perform at the festival are such acts as Brick, Boomin City, The Click, In The Streets, Top Dollar, Southern Ballers, Jeff Row 28 Boy, Poelo and Mo Dee and more.
The event begins at 3 p.m. and admission is free.
However, organizers will take donations to help Earline Evans, 41, whose arthritis has disabled her. Evans' supporters say she needs a van with a lift so she can travel around more easily.
For more information, call Jimmy Mitchell at 484-2948 or 604-3282. You can also send e-mail to boomincity@hotmail.com.
