CELEBRITY SIGHTING Lance Bass, a member of the band N SYNC and a native of Mississippi, was in Meridian Friday visiting children at Hope Village for Children. Bass, an honorary board member of Hope Village for the past three years, was joined by Emmy Award-winning Meridian native Sela Ward. "I was so overwhelmed at the outpouring of love and support I witnessed today at Hope Village for Children," Bass said. "I am proud to be a part of such a great organization. I am excited about the future and hope that more people will contribute to helping us open the last two cottages. Children are now being turned away every day.
