Services for Refuge Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church have moved to a new location: 829 47th Ave. Service times are Sunday school, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday morning worship, 11 a.m; and Bible class, Thursday at 7 p.m. For more information, call (601) 581-1610 or (601) 693-7880.
Power Hour, which brings the Christian community together for inspiration and encouragement, meets the first Thursday of each month at First Baptist Church. The hour includes lunch, fellowship, prayer, inspirational music and testimony. It is open to all races, denominations and genders. No reservations are necessary.
The cost of a deluxe meal is $6.50. Lunch is served 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The program begins at 12:15 p.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m. For information, call Jimmy Slay at 482-9779.
Fellowship Baptist Church is collecting labels from Campbell products to buy equipment for the church. Labels from the following Campbell products are requested: soups, beans, Swanson broths, Pepperidge Farm products, Prego pasta sauces, V-8 Juice and Franco-American Spaghettios.

TODAY
HEIDELBERG A women's seminar will be presented at Greater Beaver Meadow Missionary Baptist Church from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. "Women Empowering to Change the World Around Them" 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 is the theme.
SUNDAY
Homecoming will be observed at Shiloh Baptist Church on Causeyville Road. The Rev. Paul Garrett of New Prospect Baptist Church will deliver the homecoming message.
The church's annual mid-summer revival is Monday through Friday with the Rev. Marvin Dixon of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Pushmataha, Ala., and True Vine Baptist Church, Meridian, as guest evangelist. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night.
A tribute to Margaret Brown, first lady of Fifth Street Missionary Baptist Church, will take place in conjunction with morning service. Members are asked to give a $50 love offering and wear gold attire.
QUITMAN The Praise and Deliverance Christian Center, 701 North Archusa Ave., will kick off its fund-raising revival at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Eddie Glen of Calvary Hill Church as guest evangelist.
Services will continue through Friday, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night. Guest evangelists will be: Monday, Kenneth Pearson; Tuesday, Jessie Jones of Wings of Deliverance Church; and Wednesday, the Rev. Darrin Thompson of Pleasant Grove Church accompanied by The Harmonizers.

MONDAY
LAUDERDALE Fall Revival at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church is scheduled through Friday, with the Rev. Willie R. Clark of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Meridian, as guest evangelist. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night.
THURSDAY
Liberty School of Theology will present Dr. Dwayne Lusk's course "How to Study the Bible" from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. through Saturday. The three-evening course focuses on tools for study, hermeneutics and methods of Biblical study. It is designed to enrich an individual's personal study habits.
Registration deadline is Monday. Registration fee is $35; tuition is $150 for each course, which includes cost of textbook and syllabus. Each class is worth three semester credit hours. For information, call (601) 482-3131.
LAUREL Fall registration at Southeastern Baptist College begins and continues through Friday, from 9 a.m.-noon and from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Late registration deadline is Aug. 29. Classes begin Aug. 18. SBC is an accredited four-year Bible college

COMING UP
UNION United Methodist Church's 2nd Annual Songfest will be at 6 p.m. on Aug. 16. The event will feature a variety of talent from the church as well as other churches in the community.
The songfest will be followed by an old-fashioned Methodist revival the next morning. The Rev. Timothy Beard of Collins United Methodist Church will be guest speaker during Sunday morning worship and again at 7 p.m. evening services. Revival will continue through Wednesday, with services beginning at 7 p.m. each night.
The Continentals' "Extreme Power 2003" tour will stop Aug. 17 at Jubilee Mennonite Church, 812 28th Ave. The concert will begin at 10:45 a.m. and is free to the public; a free will offering will be taken.
Center Ridge Baptist Church's fall revival is Aug. 17-18.
Guest speaker at the 10:30 a.m. service Aug. 17 will be the Rev. Jessie Gavin of Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, Erie, Pa. At 1 p.m., Sandra Gavin, the pastor's wife, will be guest speaker. On Aug. 18, Gavin will be guest speaker during evening services beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church praise team and choir will present music at each service.

Services will begin at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28 and 29. A "Let's Talk" session will begin at 9 a.m. on Aug. 30. "Show Thyself a Man" I Kings 2:2 is the theme.
BUTLER, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be presented at Morning Star Baptist Church on Aug. 31 at 6 p.m.
