NEWTON Services for William Hubert Harris will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Strebeck officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery.
Mr. Harris, 82, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Iva Patsy Harris of Meridian; daughters, Michelle Smith and Diane Parten, both of Enterprise; sons, Tommy Harris and Billy Harris, both of Meridian, and Vance Harris of Enterprise; sisters, Mary Ann Aycock and Polly Walker, both of Rose Hill, Dorothy Sandifer of Jackson, Bobbie Joe of Hattiesburg and Bonnie Jean Woods of Meridian; brothers, Hulon Harris of California, Fred Harris of Gulfport and Sam Harris of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Jay and Hettie Morvin Shepherd Harris ;and a brother, Joseph Jessie Harris.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Delbert Franklin Gheen Jr. will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Pentecostal Church in Winston County with the Revs. J.R. McFall and Mark Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gheen, 14, of Carthage, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at University of Mississippi Medical Center Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson.
Survivors include his grandparents, Delbert Franklin Gheen Sr. and Alma Fay Gheen of Carthage, who adopted him; his parents, Penny Gheen Hopkins and Billy Terry, both of Carthage; brothers, David Gheen and Ian Hopkins, both of Carthage; sisters, Penny Hopkins, Robin Leach and Dannie Hopkins, all of Carthage, and Rhonda Ballenger of Meridian; his grandmother, Clara Bell Barton of West Memphis, Ark.; great-grandmother, Minnie Lee Quinn Hamilton of Neshoba County; and his great-grandfather, Arthur Franklin Gheen of Los Angeles.
Visitation will be today 4 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Services for Ruby Miller Bosch will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at New Fellowship Baptist Church in Hickory with the Revs. Dr. Larue Stephens and Robert Rousey officiating. Burial will be in New Fellowship Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bosch, 88, of Woodstock, Ga., died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw, Ga. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Long Beach.
Survivors include a son, Jack Miller and his wife, Maxine, of Woodstock; four grandchildren, Cindy Bridges of Walsenburg, Colo., Jeff Miller of Woodstock, Greg Miller of Marietta, Ga., and Roy Sinquefield of Dallas.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Long Beach.
Pallbearers will be Everette Aultman, Dan Williams, Joe Williams, Bill Williams, Joey Williams and David Anderson.
Visitation will be Thursday 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the church.
