NEWTON Services for Mable Elizabeth Wilson Boutwell will be held today at 11 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Brian Pennington and Don Mason officiating. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Boutwell, 82, of Newton, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at Okahatta Personal Care in Decatur. She was a 4-H adult leader, a member of the Home Demonstration Club, Community Development Club and a State 4-H Leadership Award recipient.
Survivors include her husband, W. Kenneth Boutwell Sr. of Newton; sons, W. Kenneth Boutwell Jr. and his wife, Jean Youngblood, of Tallahassee, Fla., Wayne A. Boutwell and his wife, Loletta Weems, of Slidell, La., and Stanley E. Boutwell and his wife, Mae Nell Myers, of Newton; sisters, Vera Wilson Smith of Louin and Willie Joe Wilson McCormick and her husband, Paul, of Newton; brothers, A.Y. Wilson and his wife, Waureen, of Garlandsville, Tom Hardy Wilson and his wife, Lutea, of Newton and Lewis Wilson and his wife, Melba, of Garlandsville; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeff, Mark, Julie, Allen, Angela and Connie; and six great-grandchildren, Michael, Casey, Eli, Morgan, Bryan and Allison.
Pallbearers will be Allison Wilson, Keith McCormick, Steve McCormick, Raymond Boutwell, Wendell Boutwell, David Wilson, Bruce Holliday, Todd Reese and Wyman Reese.

NEWTON Services for William Hubert Harris will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Crosby officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery.
Mr. Harris, 82, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Iva Patsy Harris of Meridian; daughters, Michelle Smith and Diane Parten, both of Enterprise; sons, Tommy Harris and Billy Harris, both of Meridian, and Vance Harris of Enterprise; sisters, Mary Ann Aycock and Polly Walker, both of Rose Hill, Dorothy Sandifer of Jackson, Bobbie Joe of Hattiesburg and Bonnie Jean Woods of Meridian; brothers, Hulon Harris of California, Fred Harris of Gulfport and Sam Harris of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Jay and Hettie Morvin Shepherd Harris ;and a brother, Joseph Jessie Harris.

BROOKHAVEN Services for Ethel Markham will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Brookhaven. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Markham, 80, of Brookhaven, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at Baptist Hospital in Montgomery, Ala.
Survivors include her sons, Houston Markham Jr. of Montgomery, Robert Markham of Meridian, Garland Markham of Atlanta and Bruce Markham of Rialto, Calif.; a daughter, Brenda Davis of Bloomington, Calif.; sisters, Thelma Boone of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Marie Jones of New Orleans; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Houston Markham Sr.; and sons, Johnnie and Larry Markham.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home

SEBASTOPOL Services for Buna Adene Tune will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Unity Assembly of God Cemetery.
Ms. Tune, 65, of Union, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, in Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton Tune of Newton; a daughter, Tammy Anita Jones of Newton; a son, Clayton Tune Jr. of Union; two grandchildren; sisters, Judy Bone of Jackson, Linda Seagrass and Ann Aldridge, both of Jasper, Ala.; two brothers, Milton Aldridge and Lowell Aldridge, both of Florida.
Visitation will be Friday beginning beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Tonya Redmond will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jeff Hancock and Travis McManus officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. Redmond, 28, of Meridian, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at the Mississippi Burn Center in Greenville.
Survivors include her son, Drew Smith; daughters, Kristen Smith and Bailey Redmond; a sister, Charity Johnson; and her parents, James and Vera Johnson, all of Meridian.
Pallbearers will be Richard Stephens, Christopher Miller, Justin Luke, Stephen Hoffer, John Roy King and Eric Johnson.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for James Norris Powell will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Archie McIntire and Franklin McLelland officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Mr. Powell, 91, of Butler, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, in Butler.
Survivors include his daughter, Thelma Powell Jordan and her husband, Alvis, of Butler; sons, Gordon Powell and his wife, Laura Ann, of Mobile and Joe Powell and his wife, Valerie, of Suqualena; six grandchildren;and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Ruth Bell Powell.
Visitation will be Friday 1 p.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services for Claudine Marshall Harwell will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Hamrick Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Harwell, 84, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary C. Tripp; grandchildren, Sue Bryson, Randolph Yates, Janet Reynolds, Russell Yates, Cody Yates, Jeff Yates, Daniel Tripp and Alma Burkhart; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Harwell; two grandchildren, Elsie Grapevine and Debbie Yates.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Reynolds, Joseph Yates, Jeff Yates, Cody Yates, Daniel Tripp and Kenneth Reynolds Jr.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
