KOSCIUSKO Services for Tra A. "Al" Chadick Jr., will be held today at 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home with the Revs. Dr. Ed Hartman and John Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Parkway Cemetery with Jordan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chadick, 76, of Kosciusko, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. He was a member of Kosciusko First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Redbud Springs Golf Club where he was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Chadick; a son, Al Chadick III and his wife, Pam, of Kosciusko; a daughter, Jeanne Ware and her husband, Barry, of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; grandchildren, William and Alex Chadick and Jessica and Chad Wade; a sister, Annette Teft of Tuscaloosa; and a great-aunt, Eula Maude Brett of Meridian.
The family requests memorials be made to French Camp Academy, 1 Fine Place, French Camp, MS 39745.
Graveside services for Claudine Marshall Harwell will be held today at 3 p.m. at Hamrick Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Harwell, 84, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at her home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary C. Tripp; and grandchildren, Sue Bryson and family, Randolph Yates and family, Janet Reynolds and family, Russell Yates and family, Cody Yates and family, Jeff Yates and family, Daniel Tripp and family, and Alma Burkhart and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Harwell; and two granddaughters, Elsie Grapevine and Debbie Yates.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Reynolds, Joseph Reynolds, Jeff Yates, Cody Yates, Daniel Tripp and Kenneth Reynolds Jr.

Services for Jessie Cleo Mahaffey will be held today at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Episcopal Church with the Rev. Greg Proctor officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Mahaffey, 89, of Meridian, died Thursday in Meridian. She was retired after 45 years of service as an engineering clerk with Mississippi Power. She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church.
Survivors include nieces, Barbara Hardee and her husband, Tom, of Monroe, La., and Wydell Gray and her husband, Ray, of Morton.
Pallbearers will be members of the church Vestry.
Visitation will be today from 2 p.m. until service time at the church.

MACON Graveside services for Verna Magee Kellis will be held today at 5 p.m. at Shuqualak Cemetery with the Rev. John Kittrell officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kellis, 95, of Shuqualak, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at Noxubee County Nursing Home.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. J. Howard Kellis.
Memorials may be made to Central Academy.

QUITMAN Services for Thomas Perry Coffman will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Revs. Greg Massey and John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Coffman, 65, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Coffman; sons, Terry Coffman, Ken Coffman, Ward Coffman, Wade Coffman and Dusty Coffman, all of Meridian; brother, Homer Coffman of Mundy, Texas; sisters, Peggy Coffman of Bradleyville, Mo., Patsy Miller of Eagle River, Alaska and Francis Moore of Pocotello, Idaho; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Services for Mary Nause Martin will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Elvin Sunds officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Martin, 89, formerly of Meridian, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, in her home in Katy, Texas. She had lived in Katy, Texas since 1997 and was a native of Lauderdale County, born to Peter Charles Nause and Clara Vorndran Nause. She and her late husband, were residents of Meridian, Vicksburg and Gulfport.
Survivors include her daughters, Theresa Kitowski and her husband, Charles, of Katy, Texas and Rita Holland and her husband, Charles, of Henderson, N.C.; a son, Gene Martin and his wife, Cynthia, of Natchez; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Duckworth Martin; her sisters, Roberta Nause Covert and Bernice Nause Galyean; brothers, John Percy, Harry, Leo and Carroll Nause.
Memorials may be made to Catholic Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 529, Meridian, MS 39302.
Pallbearers will be Charles Kitowski III, Charles Holland III, Benjamin Martin, Peter Nause, Scott Nause, Harry Nause, John Nause and Richard Nause.
Visitation and rosary service will be Friday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of Pete and Pat Nause, 8471 Nause Road in Meridian.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Max Braxton Bonner will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Clovis Lewis and Mack Tester officiating. Burial will be in Brightwater Cemetery in Needham. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bonner, 94, of Butler, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Vernelle Bonner of Butler; a son, Jerry Bonner and his wife, Nelda, of Toxey; a daughter, Faye Dial and her husband, Sen. Gerald Dial of Lineville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ethel Robinson Bonner.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
