LOUISVILLE Services for Wealthie Gully Marshall will be held today at 3 p.m. at Middleton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Marshall, 86, died Wednesday, August 20, 2003 in Lady Lake, Fla.

YORK, Ala. Graveside services for Ooleeta Bozone Williams will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw, Ala. with the Rev. Roy Sanford officiating. Bumpers funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Williams,78, of Eutaw died Saturday, August 23, 2003 in Chelsea.
Survivors include two sons, Davey J. Williams and his daughter, Linda, of Birmingham and Johnny P. Williams of Eutaw; a sister, Louise B. Panjic, of York; a brother-in-law, Joe H. Williams; a niece, Dian B. Adams; and an extended family, friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Haynie Williams.
The family requests memorials be made to Greene County emergency medical service in Eutaw.
Services for Marlon Maurice "Rob" Davis will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Grace officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis, 45, of Meridian, died Sunday, August 17, 2003 at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include five sisters, Lorraine Waterford and her husband Dewayne of Chicago, Angela Mosley and her husband, Jerry, of Gautier, Kimberly Hailey and her husband, Peter, Veronica Williams and Kiesha McCray, all of Meridian; two brothers, Darrell Rush and Steven Rush and his wife, Glenda, all of Meridian; two step-children, Marites O'Hara and Tony O'Hara, both of Meridian; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Annie Davis.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services for Gary Frazier will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Frazier Grove Church of God. Barham funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Frazier, 54, died Saturday, August 23, 2003 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Lillye Burton Hampton will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Mearlon Coleman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hampton, 90, of Preston, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 in Preston.
Survivors include a brother, Revis Burton; a sister, Ocie Bell Burton, both of DeKalb; four step-sons, Jay T. Hampton, of Detroit, Marvin Hampton, of Cleveland, Ohio, Lamar Hampton of Omaha, Neb. and Johnson Hampton of Portland, Ore.; three step-daughters, Lena Turner and A. Myra Mason, both of Omaha, Neb.; and Elvira Hudson, of Portland, Ore.; and one goddaughter, Patricia Campbell, of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnson Hampton.

Services for Fannie G. Pearson will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pearson, 110, of Meridian, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include a daughter, Velma Bailey of Meridian; a son, James Pearson of Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Bertha Mae Dunlap Rhodes will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Little Zion United Methodist Church in Stonewall with the Rev. William Brown officiating. Burial will be in Stonewall Zion Chapel Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rhodes, 88, of Stonewall died Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Riley Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a son, James Rhodes Rogers of Stonewall; a daughter, Helen Rhodes Miller of Racine Wis.; a brother, Henry Floyd Dunlap of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11 a.m. – noon at Eighth Avenue Church of God.
Retires seamstress for air craft industry
A private family memorial service for Valeria Ione Joiner Murray will be held at a later date. Barham Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Murray 89, of Meridian, died Friday, August 22, 2003 Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 20, 1913 in Electric Mills. She went to Scooba Schools and started work in Meridian. She married R.A. Murray July 1, 1937. She lived and worked in California for many years. She loved to sew and garden. She moved back to Meridian in 1980. Her husband died in 1995. She was a member of Central Methodist Church, but the last few years she attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Jasper Lamar and his wife Virginia of Joiner, Texas; a daughter, Elaine; two grandchildren, Carrie Lynn and Brian; two great-grandchildren. Bryce and Kayla Coder, all of Texas; and a niece, Carol Ponds, who was her companion and care giver for the last six years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.A. Murray.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Jack Scott, of Meridian, who died Friday, August 22, 2003 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Clyde Hampton Jr., 51, of Jackson, who died Saturday, August 23, 2003 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
