Services for Eula Maude Britt will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jason Bird officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery in Jachin, Ala. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Britt, 95, of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, in Boonsboro, Md. She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Day and her husband, Edward, of Jefferson, Md.; a son, Bennett Britt and his wife, Carol, of Thibodaux, La.; grandchildren, Susan Day and Bryan Day, both of Fredrick, Md., Michelle Clark of New Orleans and Jeff Cantrell of Franklin, Tenn.; five great-grandchildren, seven nephews and five nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Condie "B.C." Britt; brothers, Evan Burnham and Bill Burnham; sisters, Annie Chadick, Lucy Morgan and Mamie Hinson.
Memorials may be made to Eula Britt Memorial Fund at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Clyde Hampton Jr. will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Union Kemper Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Coats officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hampton, 51, of Jackson, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Hampton of Jackson; his mother, Letha W. Hampton of Meridian; sons, Eldridge Waters of Clarksville, Tenn., Ebay Clyde Hampton III of Arlington, Texas, Omoro LaMein Hampton and Idris Ot Hampton, both of Meridian, Jesse Hampton and Archie Myers, both of Jackson; a daughter, Tina Stewart of Jackson; sisters, Vera Lewis and Rosalind Hampton, both of Detroit, and Frankie Johnson of New Orleans; brothers, Carl Hampton of Meridian and Arthur Williams Sr. of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Hampton Sr.
Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Services for Sarah Warren Linton will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Raley officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Linton, 81, of Quitman, formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, at Lakeside Living Center in Quitman. She was a member of Springhill Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lavelle Linton of Meridian; sons, Richard W. Warren of Purvis and Michael L. Linton of Meridian; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Diane Linton of Quitman; a brother, Thomas Odell Warren of Prescott, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Annie Joiner Warren; a sister, Annie Pearl Warren; brothers, D.L. and R.J. Warren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ivy, Jerry Hill, Robbie Lester, Skip Holloway, Bubba Sneed, Clyde Wright, James "Sketter" Dial and Rudolph "Sleepy" Morris.

Services for Janelle Rasberry Boyd will be held today at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Harrison and Tommy Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd, 83, of Meridian, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2003, in her home. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church for many years and a cosmetics representative for Marks-Rothenburg and McRae's Department Stores.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Boyd of Meridian; a daughter, Cheryl Linton and her husband, Owen, of Denham Springs, La.; a son, James E. Boyd Jr. and his wife, Marcus Evans, of Gilbertown, Ala.; a sister, Tressie Snowden of Meridian; six grandchildren, Bruce Linton and his wife, Marsha, the Rev. Michael Linton and his wife, Etta, Jonathan Boyd, Jordan Boyd, Jade Boyd and Ethan Boyd; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Brooke Linton and James Boyd Linton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Ollie and Ellie Rasberry.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Long, B.Q. Lee Jr., Clayton Cobler, Lamar Bailey, O.P. Brown and Fred Edmiston.

BAY SPRINGS Services for April Nichole Stevens will be held today 4:30 p.m. at Raleigh United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Sylvarena Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Stevens, 14, of Bay Springs, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, in Bay Springs. She was in the ninth grade and a member of Raleigh United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her father, Timothy Stevens of Taylorsville; her mother and step-father, Reva Smith and Stacy Smith of Bay Springs; a brother, Nicholas Dale Williams of Bay Springs; a sister, Heather Olivia Stevens of Bay Springs; her grandparents, Deral and Peggy McMullan, Leatha and Byrdette Stevens, J.E. and Terry Smith and Steve and Maxine Young.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Emmett Weaver will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Holiness Church with the Revs. Sid Stewart and David Dyess officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in McIntosh, Ala. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Weaver, 75, of McIntosh, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Mavis "Rusti" Weaver of McIntosh; daughters, Jewel Johnson and her husband, Raymond, of McIntosh, Alma Holifield and her husband, Tommy, of Quitman, Nita Sullivan and Lora Bradford, both of Citronelle, Ala., and Mary Ann Reid of McIntosh; a son, Jerry Weaver of Atmore, Ala.; sisters, Betty Weaver and Lottie Reid and her husband, Carl V., all of McIntosh; brothers, Fritz Weaver and his wife, Dot, and Gary Weaver and his wife, Maxine, all of McIntosh; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Eubanks and her husband, Bert, of McIntosh; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today beginning at 6 p.m. at Magnolia Holiness Church.

BILOXI Private graveside services with full military honors for Elmo Rex Fikes will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Big Ridge Baptist Church. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
