Final Preparations

Glenn Boothe, left, and Eugene Harmon prepare Northeast Lauderdale High School's football field for its season-opening game at 7:30 p.m. tonight against Northwest Rankin High School. While some public schools played ball Thursday, most begin the 2003 season tonight including Northeast Lauderdale. Privates schools began their season last week.
