60th anniversary
Kirby and Marcille Anthony recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. They married on Aug. 28, 1943, in Union. They have three children, Glenn Anthony of Madison, Kaye Parker and DeRina Usher of Meridian; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Anthony is the former Marcille Gilmore.
50th anniversary
Howard and Marjorie Lockey Sr. will celebrate their 50th Anniversary at a reception hosted by their children on Sept. 6, 2003, from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Collinsville Community Center. They were married Sept. 5, 1953, at Capital Street Methodist Church in Jackson. The Lockeys have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lockey is the former Marjorie O. Reed.
100th birthday
Friends and family from Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church will host a 100th birthday party for Ouida Shirley today at 2 p.m. at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. Ms. Shirley was born on Sept. 3, 1903.
