Services for Zoie R. Cook will be held today at 10 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Revs. John Edwards and Greg Massey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
Mrs. Cook, 95, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at Beverly Health Care Center. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Gressett of Chunky and Carol Ann Mercer and her husband, Ron, of Meridian; sons, Tommy R. Cook Sr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Meridian, Morris Delane Cook and his wife, Charlotte, of Saraland, Ala., and Johnnie J. Cook of Meridian; a brother, Harmon Rasberry and his wife, Novaline, of Stonewall; sisters, Annie Laura Beeman of Collinsville and Bobbie Joyce Green and her husband, Frank, of Springfield, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Nate Cook and a granddaughter, Patricia Diane Cook.
Pallbearers will be Larry Gressett, Jackie Gressett, Ricky Gressett, Scott Mercer, Phillip Mercer and R. E. Williams.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

Services for Roger M. Carlisle will be held today at 1 p.m. at Springhill Baptist Church in Kewanee with the Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Toomsuba. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Carlisle, 62, of Toomsuba, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, D.C. Carlisle of Meridian; three daughters, Gertie Elaine Carr and her husband, Roy, and Betty J. Norwood and her husband, Dallas, all of Jackson, and Pamela M. Carlisle of Motrin, Ga.; a son, Danny Carlisle of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Annie R. Anthony of Toomsuba, Mattie M. Marsh of Milwaukee, and Christine Rogers of Meridian; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Gertrude Rogers, four brothers and a daughter.

Graveside services for Luvenia Boswell will be held today at 3 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Cemetery with the Revs. Jim Smith and James Rickles officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boswell, 90, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, in Meridian. She was a retired inspector with Burnley Shirt Company and a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Greenlee of Toomsuba; a son, Charles Boswell of Meridian; grandchildren, Heather Lea, Deeann Truelove, Sonya Neal, Lisa Eggleston, Charles Greenlee and Ricky Greenlee; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Ruby Limerick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Boswell; three grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be today from noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Gennie Smith will be held today at 4 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in the Shucktown Community with the Rev. Richard Parker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith, 92, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include four sons, Jimmie L. Smith of Cuba, Ala., Lawrence Smith of Davenport, Iowa, Leon Smith of Meridian and Earnest Smith of Miami; two daughters, Dorothy M. Hundley of Gulfport and Bonnie J. Temple of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Shellie Grady of Meridian; and a special granddaughter and care taker, Linda DuBose of Meridian; 28 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 41 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Grady and Armetta McWilliams.

UNION Services for Lorene Smith will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Young and Lin Chesney officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton County.
Ms. Smith, 91, of Collinsville, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her sisters, Jewell Rigdon of Little Rock, Fannie Mae Warren and Gladys Scruggs, both of Meridian and Agnes Goux of New Orleans; brothers, Kenneth Rigdon and his wife, Olanell, of Collinsville and Norris Rigdon of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Roe Smith.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
