Edward L. Phillips and Lynn Phillips, both of Meridian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaime Leigh, to John Crawford Winton, son of Raymond Winton and Anita Winton, both of Starkville.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at the Millsaps-Buie House in Jackson.
Miss Phillips is the granddaughter of Jackie and Virginia Moore of Quitman, Avis Phillips of Stonewall and the late Freeman Phillips.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Mississippi School for Math and Science and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi.
She is employed by Hawthorn Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Mr. Winton is the grandson of Juanita Braddock of Heber Springs, Ark., and the late W.C. Braddock, and the late L.S. and Cornelia Winton of Raleigh, N.C.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Mississippi School for Math and Science and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi.
He is a fourth year medical student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
A reception will be held at the Millsaps-Buie House following the ceremony.
