After starting the first 2 1/2 weeks on the road, the Meridian Community College men's and women's soccer teams will finally play a home game today.
The Eagles and Lady Eagles will square off against the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans and Lady Trojans starting at 4 p.m.
MCC's matches against MDCC are the start of a three-game homestand for the well-traveled squads.
The MCC men's soccer team will be in action by itself on Thursday. The Eagles will take on No. 8-ranked Young Harris out of Georgia.
MCC's homestand wraps up on Saturday with the women taking on Shelton State at 4 p.m. and the men playing East Central Community College at 6 p.m.
The road hasn't been that bad for the men's squad. The Eagles have composed a 3-0 record notching wins over Hinds, Itawamba and East Mississippi.
The women haven't fared as well at the start of the season. The Lady Eagles have compiled a 1-3 record, with their lone win coming against East Mississippi.
