Graveside services for Robert Wilson will be held today at noon at Long Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmie Gunn officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wilson, 85, of Meridian, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, in Meridian.
Survivors include his sisters, Helen Denton and her husband, Pete, of Meridian and Margaret Hatten of Jackson; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.R. Wilson and Eunice Wilson Smith; sisters, Elizabeth Plummer and Mozelle Dunn; and a brother, Herman Smith.
Memorial Services for Emily Bonner Krouse Smith will be held today at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith, 94, of Atlanta,formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003,in Atlanta. She was born on Aug. 29, 1909 in Meridian and has lived in Atlanta since 1997. She was the daughter of Martha Dillehay Krouse and Penn Jeffries Krouse, the architect of First Presbyterian Church in Meridian, where she maintained active members throughout her life. Her church and family were foremost in her life and she was a steady and strong encouragement to her husband in his business, civic and philanthropic activities. Though she embraced many interests, her concern for others and appreciation of meaningful friendships was paramount. Drawing deep on her Christian faith and joy of friends, she possessed a calm inner strength and outgoing graciousness throughout her life.
Survivors include her daughter, Sylvia Smith Griffin of Atlanta; a son, the Rev. Dr. Timothy R. Smith of Pawleys Island, S.C.; three granddaughters and two grandsons and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otho R. Smith and her parents.
Memorials may be made to the Otho R and Emily K. Smith Library Collection at French Camp Academy,1 Fine Place, French Camp, MS 39745 or to the First Presbyterian Church, 905 23rd Avenue, Meridian, MS 39301.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Ona Bell Jolly will be held today at 4 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Blackjack Cemetery.
Mrs. Jolly, 82, of Cocoa, Fla., died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Blankenship of Cocoa; a granddaughter and a great-grandson; sisters, Maudella Childress of Kokomo, Ind., Wilma Jolly of Pearl and Venus Vincent of Duffield, Va.; and a brother, Rodney Earl Barnett of Duffield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon Jolly; and a daughter, Claudina Barnett.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Services for Willie Mae Alford will be held Saturday at noon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Zackery Operton officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Alford, 68, of Lauderdale County, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, in Meridian.
Survivors include her daughters, Dianne Brown and Linda Alford, both of Meridian, Mary Ann Robinson of Lake Charles, La., and Emma McCurty of Forest; a son, Donald Alford of Meridian; a sister, Anna Jean Bullock of Fresno, Calif.; and brothers, Ernice Marshall of Fresno and Billy Jean Alford of Meridian.
Visitation will be Friday 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Lora H. Boyd will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brownridge Baptist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Bennie Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Rush Cemetery in DeKalb. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boyd, 86, of DeKalb, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her sons, Sam Bennoman, Walter Boyd, Roberta Boyd, Donald Lee Boyd, Johnny W. Boyd and James W. Boyd, all of DeKalb, and Lee A. Boyd of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Florine McShepard and May Monroe of DeKalb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Mark Boyd; parents, Ida Bell and George Holliday; and a daughter.
Visitation will be Friday 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Josephine Blanks Rea, 83, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, in her home.
