Emily Michelle Harrell and Nickolas McLaurin Walton were married Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 3 p.m. at Edinburg First Baptist Church. The Rev. Rusty Walton officiated at the candlelight ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Harrell of Edinburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Dwane Walton of Collinsville.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Luke of Philadelphia, the late Billy Adcock Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Harrell of Edinburg.
The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Maston McMahan, and Wilma Walton and the late Henton Walton.
Nuptial music was provided by Ramona Adcock.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Jessica Sistrunk of Edinburg. Other attendants were Melanie Walton of Collinsville, Alisha Wilcher of Sunrise and Nikki Lundy of Philadelphia.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Eric Walton, Ben Walton and Patrick Walton, all of Collinsville and brothers of the bridegroom. Justin Harrell, brother of the bride, served as usher.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Assisting at reception were Stephanie Lundy, Billy and Ramona Adcock, Evelyn and Danny Burt and Mary McMillon.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the church's fellowship hall.
After a honeymoon in Florida, the couple resides in Meridian.
