Graveside services for W.C. Blackwell will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Keith Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Blackwell, 79, of Meridian, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from the Marine Corps and Corp. of Engineers. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Carl Mack Blackwell of Meridian, Teresa Blackwell Tatum and her husband, Dave, of Oxford and Mary Diane Blackwell Berry and her husband, Todd, of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren, Steve Brown II, Chris Brown, Courtney Hawkins, Taylor Berry and Amelia Berry; a brother, Horace Blackwell of Jackson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Norris Blackwell; a daughter, Lydia Ann Blackwell; his parents, Joseph and Katura Blackwell; four siblings.
Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Rex Robin Anderson will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Conehatta with the Rev. Mark Patrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rex, 15, of Conehatta, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, in Conehatta.
Survivors include his parents, Mack and Valerie Anderson of Conehatta; brothers, Max Anderson, Erwin Mack Anderson, Mike Austin Anderson and Marc Marine Anderson, all of Conehatta, Raney Dan of Philadelphia and Deanrick Isom; sisters, Tracey Trolley of Las Vegas, Marlena Anderson, Ladorna Jefferson, Willene Anderson and Veltina Anderson, all of Conehatta; and his grandfather, Leon Tubby of Philadelphia.
CORVALLIS, Ore. Services for Sara Wright Kelley will be held at a later date at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Columbarium in Hillsdale, N.J. McHenry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kelley, 88, of Corvallis, formerly of Meridian, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at The Mennonite Home in Albany, Ore.
Survivors include her sister, Virginia Wright Matzner of Meridian; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Welbourn Kelley; and a daughter, Page Kelley.
