PHILADELPHIA Services for Jesse Aaron Wells will be held today at 1 p.m. at Spring Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Purser and Wayne King officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wells, 16, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was in 11th grade at Neshoba Central High School.
Survivors include his parents, Allen and Laura Wells; sisters, Brande Wells and Samantha Wells, all of Philadelphia; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Sue Stanley,of Culpepper, Va.; paternal grandparent, Peggy Wells of Philadelphia; great-grandmother, Charlotte Hiney of Chiefland, Fla. and great-grandmother, Laura Ely of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jeff Wells of Philadelphia.
Memorials may be made to Jesse Wells Trust Fund at the Citizens Bank of Philadelphia.
Visitation will be today from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Hazel B. Poitevent will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Poitevent, 88, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Meridian.
Survivors include her son, Freddie Poitevent of Meridian; a nephew, Fitzhugh Bush of Harvester, Mo.; nieces, Dr. Fay Shilings of Auburn, Ala., Gail Tatum of San Duskie, Ohio and Brenda Berry of Memphis, Tenn.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Meridian.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Jarrett, Dr. Robert Clark, Robert Brand, John McRae, Johnathan Hill and Henry Wilson.
