War Eagles soar past the Salmen Spartans

WAYNESBORO It was for state bragging rights.
The Wayne County War Eagles represented Mississippi well whipping Salmen of Slidell, La, 41-14 here Friday night.
The War Eagles, winners of 12 straight games dating back to last season, scored three times in the first period and then added single touchdowns in the final three quarter to win this state vs. state battle.
The War Eagles rolled up 421 yards of offense in the game and held the Spartans to 125 yards of total offense.
The War Eagles marched 63 yards in five plays to score the first touchdown of the game
